Safeguarding Fortnight (18 – 29 November 2024)

Date: Wednesday, 06th Nov 2024 | Category: General

It is less than two weeks until the first of our East Sussex Safeguarding Children Partnership FREE multi-agency SAFEGUARDING FORTNIGHT taster learning events.

We have organised 7 one-hour-long taster learning events, between Monday 18th and Friday 29th November 2024, on a range of safeguarding topics from ‘child to parent abuse’ to a deep dive into ‘extreme misogyny’. There are still spots available for all sessions.

The events are open to all professionals working with children and families, are free to attend, and are all online. To sign up all you need to do is click on the following link: Buy tickets – East Sussex Safeguarding Children Partnership

As part of Safeguarding Fortnight, NHS Sussex are also offering a range of FREE events which focus on ‘Hidden Harm’. These sessions are aimed at any professional/volunteer who work with families, whether just with children, with adults or across the whole family.  This NHS Safeguarding Fortnight 2024 poster contains links to book, as well as via the simple NHS log-in system.

And finally, Brighton & Hove SCP are also hosting a range of learning events and training opportunities – many of which will be open to staff working in East Sussex. For more details please review the BHSCP Safeguarding Fortnight 2024 Programme
